GRC Information Security Officer – Risk & Governance

Our client, a leading organization in the pharmaceutical sector, is looking for a GRC Information Security Officer to support their global security operations. The role focuses on operational security governance, primarily managing risk assessments and exception tracking within the project framework. Responsibilities include conducting and supporting security risk assessments, following up on risk mitigation actions, managing security exceptions, guiding stakeholders through governance processes, preparing reports and dashboards, and participating in operational meetings.

Requirements: 1+ years of experience in Information Security or GRC-related activities, basic knowledge across security domains and core IT concepts including network security and network segregation, ability to perform risk assessments, proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), strong analytical and communication skills, proactive and adaptable, fluent in English.

Nice to haves: experience with GRC platforms, pharmaceutical industry experience, security certifications such as ISO 27001, knowledge of French or Dutch.

Offer: start ASAP, duration 1 year (renewable annually), full-time, location Braine-l'Alleud, working model hybrid (1 day per week onsite), contract open to both permanent employees and freelancers.
