Omschrijving
On behalf of our client, Woodside Energy - a Global Energy Company, Brunel is presently sourcing a Health & Safety Adviser to provide specialist Health & Safety Leadership, assurance and practical advisory support for decommissioning activities across offshore, marine and onshore environments. This will be an 18 month contract role located at the Melbourne Docklands. Based onshore with regular site visits, you will support the planning, execution and close-out of decommissioning activities through risk management, contractor assurance, field verification, regulatory engagement and workforce safety initiatives. Responsibilities include providing Health & Safety support across offshore, marine and onshore decommissioning activities; verifying critical controls, contractor compliance and closure of actions; supporting incident investigations, reporting and lessons learned; conducting field inspections and assurance activities; facilitating HAZID, SIMOPS and risk assessment workshops; supporting hazard identification, risk management and process safety initiatives; assisting with audits, inspections and regulatory engagements; coaching and influencing teams to strengthen safety culture and leadership; managing Health & Safety interfaces across contractors, regulators and project stakeholders; and embedding Health & Safety requirements throughout project delivery and contract execution. Essential skills and knowledge include extensive Health & Safety experience in Energy, Resources, Construction, Marine or other high-hazard industries; knowledge of risk management, process safety, contractor assurance, incident investigation and field leadership; strong communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills; ability to manage competing priorities and work independently; willingness to travel to offshore, vessel, yard and disposal locations as required; tertiary qualification in Health & Safety, Engineering, Science or a related discipline; professional certification or industry membership (desirable); investigation, auditing or risk facilitation training; decommissioning experience across offshore facilities, wells, subsea infrastructure, marine, dismantling, waste management or disposal activities; and experience with safety cases, regulator engagement and late-life asset transitions.
