Omschrijving
We are partnering with our client, a respected organization in the Oil & Gas sector, to appoint a dedicated HSE Officer to strengthen their safety culture on site. As part of our client's team in Abu Dhabi, UAE, you will play a central role in safeguarding people, assets, and the environment through robust health, safety, and environmental practices. Key responsibilities: conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe conditions; prepare and review risk assessments and Job Safety Analysis (JSA); monitor compliance with PPE and safe working procedures; conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and HSE training; investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts; prepare HSE reports, inspection reports, and corrective-action records; monitor permit-to-work systems and high-risk activities; support emergency preparedness, evacuation drills, and first-aid arrangements; ensure proper housekeeping and environmental controls; coordinate with supervisors, workers, contractors, and management regarding safety issues; follow applicable UAE HSE legislation, client requirements, and company procedures; assist with internal and external HSE audits. Essential skills and knowledge: Diploma/Bachelor's in Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field; NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) - highly preferred; IOSH Managing Safely - useful, particularly for supervisors and safety personnel.
