Omschrijving
On behalf of our client, a World Leading Energy Company, Brunel is presently recruiting a HSE Specialist Projects for a field-based Health, Safety and Environmental leadership role working across major project activities within a complex operational environment. This will be an onshore FIFO role, 14:14 roster, 12 month contract, preferably open to residential candidates based in WA. Responsibilities include providing HSE leadership, coaching and support to project teams and contractors; conducting HSE audits, inspections and field assurance activities; verifying compliance with Permit to Work, Control of Work and isolation requirements, SIMOPS and Control of Work expectations; leading incident investigations and reporting activities; supporting and mentoring contractor HSE personnel; building effective working relationships across Operational and Project Teams; and promoting a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement. Essential skills and knowledge: Health & Safety and/or Environmental qualification OR equivalent experience; extensive HSE experience supporting contractors in project environments; experience working in the execution phase of major projects; demonstrated ability to implement and promote positive safety culture initiatives; strong understanding of Managing Safe Work and Control of Work processes; experience leading audits, inspections, incident investigations and field assurance activities; strong communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills; proficiency in MS Office Suite applications.
