IAM Support Engineer – Azure & Entra ID

Our client, a key organization in the utilities sector, is looking for an IAM Support Engineer to join their specialized security and identity service desk. This role focuses on managing technical access, resolving security-related incidents, and supporting the migration of service management systems.

Responsibilities: Resolve incidents, information requests, and service applications within the security, privacy, and identity management domains. Manage the technical and administrative aspects of onboarding and offboarding processes for various clients. Implement and monitor changes within the infrastructure and account management teams. Develop and maintain security and privacy policies, standards, procedures, and operational guidelines. Collaborate with stakeholders and internal teams to provide technical support and ensure security compliance.

Contribute actively to the transition from current ITSM tools to a new service management platform.

Requirements: You possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent through experience. You bring 3+ years of experience in the technical configuration and management of Microsoft Azure. You have 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), including advanced technical configuration beyond basic user administration. You possess 3+ years of experience in IT Networking, specifically with IP addressing, subnets, firewalls, routing, and DNS.

You have proven experience in drafting, monitoring, and executing technical or operational processes and ITIL guidelines. You bring experience with Microsoft Entra components such as Privileged Identity Manager, Identity Governance, and Domain Services. You're proactive and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. You are fluent in English with C1 level proficiency in either Dutch or French.

Nice to Haves: Experience within the energy market. 3+ years of experience with Office 365. Working knowledge of ServiceNow or TOPdesk. Relevant certifications such as MS-500, AZ-500, SC-100, SC-300, or SC-900. Active knowledge of both Dutch and French.

Offer: Start date: 02/11/2026.

Duration: 24 months (plus 12-month extension option).

Work regime: Full-time.

Location: Brussels.

Working model: Hybrid (minimum 2 days per week onsite).

Contract: open to both permanent employees and freelancers.
