Incoming Quality Associate

A leading international life sciences organisation is responsible for the final steps of getting medicines ready for patients worldwide. From labelling and packaging to storage and distribution, the site operates in a highly regulated environment where quality, accuracy, and compliance are essential. For this position, we are looking for an Incoming Quality Associate to join the Incoming Quality Assurance team in Breda. The Incoming Quality Associate supports the release of incoming materials by completing documentation checks, sampling, and inspections before materials are used in labelling and packaging operations.

This is a hands-on role for someone with a strong eye for detail, a quality mindset, and confident communication with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities: Reviewing documentation for incoming materials and verifying completeness and accuracy; Sampling incoming materials in line with procedures; Performing visual inspections of packaging components (printed and non-printed); Completing additional sampling or inspections when required; Performing damage inspections on received components; Identifying deviations or non-conformances and escalating issues to the relevant stakeholders; Following up with internal teams and/or suppliers to resolve issues; Providing quality oversight of the receiving and component release process; Working according to established procedures, ensuring compliance and traceable documentation.

Requirements: A careful, quality-focused way of working and strong attention to detail; Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with different teams; Confidence to flag issues and escalate when something does not meet requirements; Good written and spoken English; Comfort working with digital systems (e.g., ERP systems); Experience in Quality (QA/QC) and/or a regulated environment is a plus, but not required. Temporary Full-Time Contract (24hrs per week/ 3 days a week).

From Jan OR May can be Full-Time depend on workload. This role is fully on-site in Breda, and availability on Fridays is required due to peak incoming deliveries. The hiring team is open to a range of backgrounds and will support training and development for the right person.
