Infrastructure Architect

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale infrastructure solutions across cloud, on-premises and hybrid environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining infrastructure strategy, creating architecture roadmaps, ensuring scalability and security, and supporting major transformation programmes. You will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, security teams and project delivery functions to design resilient, cost-effective and future-proof infrastructure solutions.

Key responsibilities include designing end-to-end infrastructure architectures, developing roadmaps, leading design workshops, producing HLDs/LLDs, defining standards and governance, ensuring security and compliance, supporting cloud transformation and migration, collaborating with security/network/cloud/platform teams, reviewing existing infrastructure for optimisation, and providing technical assurance. Required skills include proven experience as an Infrastructure Architect, Technical Architect or Solution Architect, strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies, experience with Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory/Entra ID, virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V), storage and backup, enterprise networking, security architecture, and strong understanding of public cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud desirable).

Also experience with hybrid cloud and migration programmes, disaster recovery, business continuity, high-availability design, architecture documentation, and strong stakeholder management. Desirable skills include Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), Kubernetes, DevOps/CI/CD, Zero Trust, monitoring, TOGAF/Azure/AWS certifications, and regulated environments. The technology environment includes Azure, AWS, VMware, Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, Entra ID, Networking, Storage, Backup, Security, Terraform, Kubernetes, Hybrid Cloud.
