Omschrijving
As Interim Cash Management Specialist, you will provide temporary support for cash management and liquidity operations across multiple countries in Europe. This assignment is suited to a hands-on treasury professional who can quickly add value in a fast-paced, international environment and help maintain the effectiveness of regional cash management during a transitional period. Tasks include managing daily cash operations, including cash positioning, forecasting and reporting; managing and optimizing cash pooling structures to support the efficient use of funds across the region; administering the in-house bank, including intercompany funding, settlements and reconciliations; ensuring adequate liquidity and compliance with internal policies, external regulations and controls related to cash operations; and improving and harmonizing cash management processes across European countries, including the preparation of management reports and contribution to forecasts. The ideal candidate is a hands-on treasury professional who combines accuracy, analytical thinking and sound judgement with a practical, results-oriented approach. They have a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field, extensive experience in treasury or cash management, and knowledge of cash pooling and in-house banking. They are highly skilled in Excel, experienced with SAP, treasury management systems and financial software, and fluent in English. Diplomatic communication and confidence working with multiple stakeholders in a multicultural environment are essential. The client is a dynamic, globally operating company with a European headquarters in Amsterdam and a strong international presence. Innovation, excellence and sustainability are central to its activities. The role reports to the Group Treasurer and works across several countries within a multicultural and multinational environment. The role requires at least two days per week in the office. It will be an assignment of 3 months, which could be extended. The candidates hourly fee will be around € 80,- per hour.
