Interim Legal Counsel

Our client is an international logistics service provider with a strong global footprint. Operating across multiple continents, the organisation supports its customers with a broad range of supply chain, freight forwarding and transport solutions. To strengthen a compact international legal team, we are looking for an Interim Legal Counsel with expertise in transport law, commercial contracts and process optimisation. Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you will advise on legal issues related to international transport and logistics, including road transport and maritime transportation activities.

You will support in drafting and negotiating agreements and contribute to the further development and optimisation of internal (legal) processes and procedures. The role combines legal advisory work with process improvement initiatives and offers significant exposure to an international business environment.

Profile: Interim role for qualified lawyer or legal counsel; preferably some experience with logistics, transportation and warehousing issues; (basic) knowledge and understanding of transport law; experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts; experience within an international business environment or international clients; fluent in English both written and verbal, living in The Netherlands.
