IT/OT Support Engineer

We are looking for an experienced IT/OT Support Engineer to join a technical environment where IT infrastructure, operational technology and security systems come together. You will be responsible for providing hands-on technical support, troubleshooting incidents, maintaining systems and supporting software upgrades and implementations. You will work closely with internal teams, customers and technical stakeholders to ensure systems remain reliable, secure and operational.

Key responsibilities include: providing 2nd and 3rd-line support across IT and OT environments; troubleshooting and resolving technical incidents and system issues; performing preventive and corrective maintenance; supporting software upgrades, releases and implementations; analysing system logs and identifying root causes; supporting FAT/SAT activities and system commissioning; monitoring and maintaining IT/OT infrastructure and connected systems; providing remote and onsite technical support; working with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve complex issues; maintaining accurate technical documentation and incident records; following ITIL/ITSM processes for incident, problem and change management; and contributing to continuous improvement of support processes and technical environments.

Technical experience sought includes experience with several of the following: IT infrastructure and networking; Windows and/or Linux environments; Operational Technology (OT); industrial or manufacturing environments; SCADA, WCS or similar industrial systems; system monitoring and troubleshooting; CCTV and video surveillance systems (Genetec, Milestone); access control (LenelS2, Genetec, Mercury, HID and related access-control technologies); and ITSM/Service Management (ITIL/ITSM, ServiceNow, Jira/Jira Service Management, TOPdesk, Confluence or similar documentation platforms).

About you: several years of experience in IT/OT support or a similar technical support role; strong troubleshooting and analytical skills; hands-on experience working with technical systems and infrastructure; comfortable working in an industrial, production or OT environment; experience with CCTV/VMS and/or access-control systems is highly beneficial; knowledge of ITIL/ITSM processes; experience with FAT/SAT, commissioning or technical implementations is an advantage; strong communication and stakeholder-management skills; able to work independently while also collaborating effectively with technical teams; fluent in Dutch and English; willing to work on-site as required; and a valid driving licence is preferred.
