IT Solution Lead – .NET & Azure

Our client, a major player in the energy sector, is looking for a technical leader to drive the development and integration of business-critical software solutions. This role bridges business requirements and technology to ensure the delivery of scalable, secure, and future-proof applications within a Microsoft-oriented landscape.

Responsibilities: Serve as the technical lead for IT implementations, overseeing activities from solution definition through to deployment and operations. Translate complex business requirements into functional and technical specifications. Contribute to solution architecture and ensure technical designs adhere to security and technology standards. Coordinate with internal functional and technical platforms during delivery and operational phases.

Lead the build and deployment of custom-developed solutions and manage the integration of off-the-shelf software. Perform fit-gap analyses and contribute to technical evaluations and software selection processes. Support incident and maintenance management by monitoring supplier performance and service level agreements.

Requirements: You possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. You have 5+ years of experience in technical leadership, solution delivery, or application management within a .NET and SQL Server environment. You bring a good understanding of Microsoft Azure, APIs, containerization, and cloud-native solution patterns. You possess experience with fit-gap analyses, requirements definition, and software selection processes.

You have a solid understanding of software architecture principles, security standards, and IT service management processes. You possess knowledge of Agile methodologies. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Proactive, autonomous, and collaborative approach. You are fluent in English with professional knowledge of French or Dutch.

Nice to Haves: Experience within the electricity or energy sector.
