Eisen

Brainbridge IT Staffing is seeking an IT Team Leader & Transition Manager Service for a strategic transformation within the IT organization of a client operating in a critical infrastructure environment, specifically the energy ecosystem. The mission combines two key responsibilities: leading and supporting the Solution Architecture team, and managing an organizational transition that brings together Architecture and Product teams into a unified operating model within a three-month timeframe.
The consultant will also contribute to the definition and implementation of a renewed enterprise architecture operating model. Experience in the Energy & Utilities sector is considered an asset, as is previous involvement in organizational transformations and merger-related initiatives. Key responsibilities include defining and implementing the target governance model, clarifying roles and responsibilities between Product, Architecture, and Delivery teams, developing and monitoring the transition plan, removing obstacles, facilitating integration, and driving team cohesion.
As Team Lead Solution Architecture, the consultant will coordinate Solution Architects, manage architecture requests and planning through the PPM tool, participate in the IT Architecture Steering Group, define standards for deliverables, oversee operational architecture activities, and act as a facilitator between business and IT stakeholders. Required experience and skills (mandatory): more than 10 years in transition and project management; ability to work autonomously; strong results-oriented mindset; extensive experience with IT processes, governance frameworks, and methodologies (ITIL, TOGAF, ArchiMate, DDD); strong understanding of cloud-native architecture principles; ability to promote and govern reference architectures; experience with microservices and event-driven architectures; familiarity with Gartner architecture methodologies; experience with architecture modelling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect; excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; strong team player; professional proficiency in English and Dutch and/or French.
Preferred: experience in Energy & Utilities; experience leading organizational transformation or merger-related initiatives; hands-on experience with Agile digital product delivery.
Practical information: Location is Brussels city centre; on-site presence minimum 2 days per week.
Eligibility: for consultants requiring work authorization in Belgium, a valid Belgian work permit and residence permit are required.
