Our client, a leading organization in the technology infrastructure sector, is seeking an IT Technician to join their team. As an IT Technician, you will be part of the Data Center Operations team supporting the technical support and maintenance of critical hardware infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset. Job Title: IT Technician. Location: Boardman, OR. Pay Range: 27.00/hr. Duties: troubleshoot, test and repair data center hardware using diagnostic tools and testing rigs; maintain inventory accuracy and support daily operational workflows; record test results in the Warehouse Management System (WMS); receive, track and manage inventory, including checking out parts as needed; diagnose hardware and basic network issues, performing physical repairs. Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent; 1+ years of basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP); experience with server/computer hardware components; ability to perform hardware replacements and repairs; basic Linux/Unix command line familiarity. The client is described as a high-profile global cloud and eCommerce organization, and the opportunity offers hands-on experience, potential for contract extension or conversion, flexible work schedules including potential night shifts, and two weeks of comprehensive training.
