Junior Data Analyst - Risk Reporting

Within a Belgian bank's factoring business you support risk data and reporting: data quality, credit insurance, and remediating regulatory recommendations. You run data-quality controls, produce reports and ad-hoc analyses, and turn raw data into clear insights for risk and regulatory stakeholders.

Responsibilities: turn raw data into actionable insights through analysis, visualisation and reporting; run data-quality controls and document related business processes; write and execute basic SQL for reporting and analysis; document business requirements for risk-data and reporting work; support projects on data quality, credit insurance and regulatory remediation in the factoring business.

Business experience: risk / regulatory reporting context (factoring, credit insurance or similar) is preferable; basic knowledge of Basel IV / CRR frameworks is preferable.

Functional experience: performing data-quality controls and documenting business processes / controls is mandatory; documenting business requirements is mandatory; assisting on risk and regulatory topics and producing reports and ad-hoc analyses is mandatory.

Technical experience: executing and writing basic SQL queries is mandatory; analysis, visualisation and reporting of data is mandatory; SAS is preferable.

Language requirements: English (fluent) is mandatory; Dutch (fluent) is mandatory; French (basic) is not mandatory.

Soft skills: team player, quick self-starter with a proactive attitude, good analytical and synthesis skills with attention to detail, autonomy, ability to work in a dynamic environment. A Master's degree with a quantitative orientation (economics, mathematics, engineering or equivalent) is preferred.

Start date: 2026-11-16, duration 6 months, location Turnhout (hybrid, ~40% on site / homeworking), remote/telework from Belgium only.

Estimated daily rate: 500-600 EUR.
