Description: Operates as skill guardian of analytical techniques applied within the workgroup. Initiates the implementation of new developments to further improve laboratory support. Performs complex analytical projects, including project proposals, effectively. Challenges project proposals to ensure that deliverables are fit for purpose for operations. Realizes ongoing improvements in the efficiency and quality of routinely applied methods. Ensures that non-routine work supporting operational units is fit for purpose.
Follows analytical developments inside and outside the organization within the area of expertise. Provides technical training and coaching to staff.
