Volledige omschrijving

Within the Analytical Development department, the Testing Operations team (part of Strategic Operations) focuses on supporting production and laboratory activities. The team of approximately 12 technicians is responsible for routine quality control, release and stability testing, and assay qualifications under a strict GMP quality system. As the team has recently expanded with relatively junior technicians, they are looking for a lab technician who is already firmly grounded in GMP guidelines and capable of performing routine quality testing independently and accurately.

Key responsibilities include: routine release and stability testing on clinical and toxicology batches under a GMP quality system with a proactive 'first time right' attitude; executing bio-analytical and physicochemical testing including ELISA, (q)PCR, chromatographic techniques such as HPLC and UPLC, and cell culturing (passaging and seeding); executing assay qualifications and validations in GMP-qualified laboratories; accurately completing and maintaining digital assay run sheets, laboratory notebooks, and equipment logbooks; assisting in writing and updating test instructions, SOPs, and standard work instructions; and proactively identifying bottlenecks or deviations while flexibly adapting to changing laboratory schedules and priorities.

Requirements: an MBO or HBO degree in a Life Sciences discipline (e.g., Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or Analytical Chemistry); a minimum of 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in a GMP-regulated laboratory environment (mandatory); practical experience with ELISA, (q)PCR, and/or HPLC/UPLC; experience with cell culturing is a strong advantage; experience with assay qualifications/validations and LIMS is a plus; strong communication skills in English (Dutch optional).

Competencies: ownership and initiative, flexibility and prioritization, curiosity and attention to detail. The position offers a contract for a year of 40 hours per week (with possibility to extend), a monthly project allowance of 4% of salary, 25 holiday days, 8% holiday pay, travel allowance, a good pension scheme, extra allowances for a home workplace budget, a training budget, coaching, an onboarding program, and unlimited access to the Randstad Academy with over 3,000 courses and trainings, networking events and knowledge sessions.

This position has no work from home possibility; 100% on-site. The company is an international pharmaceutical and innovative healthcare company focusing on developing and delivering high-quality medical solutions and medicines, with a dynamic, fast-changing campus environment and a strong quality mindset.
