Omschrijving
This role is for a Laboratory Technician / Laboratory Professional to join a pioneering Research & Development team driving the future of green iron technology. The position is based in Forrestfield, Australia. The successful candidate will support laboratory operations, testing activities, and research programs within a highly innovative environment, working with specialised equipment, analytical tools, and experimental systems while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and accuracy. Key responsibilities include conducting laboratory testing, operating and monitoring specialised testing equipment and PLC-controlled systems, assembling and maintaining test components, preparing chemicals and samples, supporting sample analysis and materials characterisation (including XRD, SEM), recording results, and maintaining high standards. Essential skills and knowledge: a Bachelor's degree in Science, Chemistry, Engineering or related discipline (preferred), laboratory or technical experience (desirable), mechanical aptitude, practical problem-solving, experience operating equipment, attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, commitment to safety, and strong communication skills.
