Volledige omschrijving

For an international organization in the life sciences sector, we are looking for a hands-on laboratory professional to support ongoing research and testing activities. The environment is quality-driven, documentation-heavy, and highly collaborative, with close cooperation across multiple teams and projects. We are looking for a Laboratory Research Technician to join a busy on-site laboratory team in Boxmeer. The role focuses on practical lab support across a variety of techniques and projects, rather than one fixed routine.

The successful candidate will contribute to reliable test execution, accurate documentation, and flexible support where the lab needs it most.

Responsibilities: Support daily laboratory activities across changing research priorities and multiple teams; perform sample processing and help ensure correct labelling, handling, and traceability; carry out and/or support laboratory tests such as ELISA and AlphaLISA; support microbiological and virological work, including activities such as virus titration and related testing; contribute to stability and potency testing activities (including work linked to vaccines); assist with preparation and support during animal-study related lab activities where required; maintain accurate documentation and laboratory records, following procedures and local documentation standards; work fully on site and collaborate closely with colleagues to deliver timely, high-quality lab output.

Requirements: 2–4 years of relevant laboratory experience; fluent in Dutch (required for documentation and lab records); comfortable working in a flexible role where tasks vary by project and team needs; hands-on experience with one or more relevant techniques (e.g., ELISA/AlphaLISA, sample processing, virology/bacteriology testing, virus titration, stability testing); accurate, detail-oriented, and confident working with structured documentation; able and willing to work 100% on-site in Boxmeer.
