Omschrijving
This role will play a critical role in establishing, industrializing, and optimizing company's global manufacturing capability, supporting the launch and ramp-up of production across multiple manufacturing sites and external suppliers, with an initial focus on China-based operations. The responsibilities include leading and supporting the fit-out, installation, commissioning, and optimization of manufacturing lines and production systems across multiple supplier and manufacturing partner facilities, ensuring alignment to design specifications, production capacity, quality standards, and operational targets. The role also involves developing, implementing, validating, and continuously improving manufacturing processes, including SOPs, work instructions, PFMEA, control plans, process flow documentation, and standard manufacturing documentation to ensure safe, repeatable, and efficient operations. As a primary technical and operational interface between company and external manufacturing partners, suppliers, and contract manufacturers, the role ensures effective coordination, issue resolution, and alignment on program deliverables and production objectives. Supporting manufacturing industrialization and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including pilot builds, line trials, process validation, manufacturing transfer, and production ramp-up planning is also part of the role. Additionally, the role drives production readiness activities to support successful transition from prototype and low-volume builds into scalable serial production, and provides hands-on engineering support at manufacturing and supplier sites, including domestic and international travel as required, proactively troubleshooting issues and maintaining effective communication with global stakeholders. Essential skills and knowledge: Bachelor or above with major in engineering or related; 8+ years advanced manufacturing or production engineering within complex or high-volume manufacturing environments in China; excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; fluent English and Chinese language skill. Interested candidates are invited to submit a comprehensive application including a resume and salary expectation. The closing date is September 10, 2026. The vacancy reference is CR-289902.
