Omschrijving
Join a major owner's team leading the design, planning and technical governance of a large-scale tailings storage facility. This role will oversee annual wall raise programs, manage external design consultants and drive long-term asset strategy, ensuring safe, compliant and practical engineering outcomes for a critical operational asset, with occasional site travel to Gladstone. Responsibilities include leading the development and delivery of annual wall raise design packages, providing technical leadership across civil, geotechnical, earthworks and water management disciplines, managing external engineering consultants, overseeing design assurance and technical governance, developing long-term infrastructure strategies, coordinating geotechnical investigations, ensuring designs are safe and compliant, supporting business case development, managing technical risks, and working closely with operations and project teams. Essential skills include a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, extensive experience in civil infrastructure, mining, dams, tailings, residue management or bulk earthworks projects, strong background in design management and technical governance, proven experience managing engineering consultants, experience overseeing studies and design development, understanding of risk management and compliance, experience developing project scopes and schedules, excellent communication skills, and ability to influence outcomes. RPEQ accreditation and owner's team experience are highly regarded. The offer includes super paid on all hours worked, weekly pay, salary sacrificing, and adhoc trips to Gladstone.
