Legal Counsel – IT & Intellectual Property

Our client, a leading service provider, is looking for a versatile Legal Counsel to join their internal team. The role offers a blend of strategic guidance and operational legal support, with a focus on technology regulations, privacy, and general commercial law.

Responsibilities: Draft and review a diverse range of agreements, including IT licensing, service delivery, and data processing contracts. Deliver pragmatic and business-focused legal advice to internal stakeholders across the organization. Manage and execute various legal projects autonomously from start to finish. Support the legal team lead with reporting and departmental coordination. Act as an accessible point of contact for legal inquiries within the organization.

Requirements: You possess a Master’s degree in Law. You bring a solid foundation in contract and obligations law. You have a demonstrated affinity with or knowledge of IT law, IP law, GDPR, and AI legislation. You're proactive, communicative, and maintain a solution-oriented mindset. You are fluent in Dutch and French with a comfortable command of English.

Nice to Haves: Knowledge of or interest in Tax Law.

Working model: Hybrid with onsite presence in Brugge.
