Logistics Process Engineer

SIRE Life Sciences is looking for an experienced Logistics Process Engineer for a global organization in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry, with a strong focus on quality, innovation, and reliable commercialization and supply operations. The organization works within a highly regulated environment and combines engineering, manufacturing, quality, logistics, and data-driven continuous improvement. The role focuses on supporting and optimizing Warehouse and Logistics operations within a highly regulated environment, improving operational processes, internal value streams, and process performance using structured analytical and continuous improvement methodologies.

You will independently manage projects and improvement initiatives, use qualitative and quantitative data to solve complex operational challenges, and collaborate with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and other subject matter experts. Responsibilities include analyzing and optimizing processes within Warehouse and Logistics operations, identifying and improving internal value streams and operational performance, evaluating complex operational issues using qualitative and quantitative data, applying advanced analytical tools to monitor, model, and predict process performance, anticipating operational risks and implementing preventive solutions, developing new processes, methods, and procedures to improve performance, leading continuous improvement and performance improvement initiatives, managing multiple assignments and projects simultaneously, independently determining approaches and solutions for operational challenges, collaborating with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and other functions, applying fit-for-purpose project management methodologies, providing training, coaching, and guidance to colleagues, building strong stakeholder relationships to identify requirements and improvement opportunities, and challenging existing processes and supporting organizational change.

Requirements include a Bachelor or Master degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Science, or a comparable discipline; at least 5 years of experience in Industrial Engineering, operational excellence, process engineering, or performance improvement; at least 2 years of experience within a highly regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, or food; experience optimizing internal value streams; strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills; experience with Six Sigma, Green Belt, or comparable continuous improvement methodologies; strong data analysis capabilities and experience using multiple analytical tools; ability to independently solve complex operational problems; strong communication and stakeholder management skills; fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken; and ability to work effectively across multiple functions and organizational levels.
