Low Code Engineer – Power Platform & AI Automation

Pauwels Consulting is recruiting for their client, a prominent organization in the insurance sector, a Low Code Engineer – Power Platform & AI Automation to join their AI Center of Excellence. This role involves designing, building, and scaling AI-powered solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform and Copilot ecosystem. The position combines hands-on solution development with business enablement to automate processes and create intelligent agents.

Responsibilities: Build AI agents, workflow automations, and productivity solutions using the Microsoft AI ecosystem and Microsoft 365 Copilot; translate business opportunities into scalable low-code solutions that deliver measurable value; create reusable agent patterns, templates, connectors, and accelerators for enterprise-wide implementation; support and coach citizen developers and business teams in the adoption of low-code and AI solutions; maintain governance, security, and lifecycle management standards for Power Platform and AI agents; collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Scientists and Product Owners to deliver end-to-end business solutions.

Requirements: 3+ years of experience developing solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem, specifically with Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot, and Dataverse; 3+ years of experience with Copilot Studio, Power Virtual Agents, or conversational AI platforms; experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies; strong understanding of governance, security, and lifecycle management within Power Platform environments; ability to translate business requirements into practical and user-friendly solutions; ability to engage and influence both technical and business stakeholders; fluent in Dutch and English.

Nice to Haves: Microsoft Power Platform certifications such as PL-200, PL-400, or PL-600; familiarity with Azure AI, AI Foundry, or API integrations; experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot extensibility and agent development; professional experience within the insurance sector; experience building reusable enterprise automation capabilities and communities of practice.

Offer: Start date November 2026, duration 1 year, full-time, location Antwerp and Brussels, hybrid working model with minimum 2 days per week onsite. Contract open to both permanent employees and freelancers.
