Omschrijving
Our client is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Inspector to support a major FPSO project at TBY Yard. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting mechanical equipment installation, testing, and quality compliance throughout construction and pre-commissioning phases. Key responsibilities include: inspecting installation of rotating and static equipment; verifying alignment, bolt tightening, preservation, and mechanical completion; witnessing functional tests and pre-commissioning activities; ensuring compliance with project specifications and procedures; reviewing inspection records and vendor documentation; and monitoring punch list closure. Requirements include a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, minimum 5 years of mechanical inspection experience, knowledge of pumps, compressors, valves, and mechanical equipment installation, and familiarity with international inspection standards. FPSO experience required: experience in FPSO, offshore oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, or marine projects; knowledge of rotating and static equipment installation and inspection; and familiarity with mechanical completion and commissioning requirements. Duration: 12 months. Location: TBY Yard. Work schedule: 6 days/week, 10 hours/day. Annual leave: 14 days. Closing date: September 03, 2026.
