Medior Program Management Officer

The client, a leading player in the energy infrastructure sector, is seeking an experienced Program Management Officer (PMO) to support the delivery of a major international infrastructure program. The role forms part of a large-scale strategic investment portfolio focused on expanding and modernizing critical energy networks across Europe. As PMO, you will join a team of project controls and program management professionals, playing a central role in ensuring effective governance, planning, reporting, budget control, risk management, and coordination across the program.

You will work closely with Program Managers, Project Leaders, Engineers, Subject Matter Experts, and other key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include: defining, maintaining, and continuously improving the program management framework; supporting the development and management of integrated baselines; consolidating budget forecasts and cost estimates; facilitating risk and opportunity management; coordinating schedule management; developing clear reporting; ensuring traceability; and coordinating PMO activities and stakeholders.

Profile: Master's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field; minimum 5 years of experience in project or program management; experience with large-scale infrastructure is a strong advantage; PMI/PMP certification is an asset; strong organizational and analytical skills; proactive and solution-oriented; excellent communication and stakeholder management; fluent in English and either Dutch or French with working knowledge of the second national language; knowledge of Primavera P6, SAP, Power BI is an advantage.

Practical: Location Brussels region, hybrid with 2 days onsite per week. Candidates requiring a work permit must already possess valid authorization to work and reside in Belgium.
