Volledige omschrijving
The UX Designer is responsible for shaping intuitive and user-centered digital experiences from discovery through validation. Working closely with users, Product Owners, business stakeholders, UI Designers, developers, and other design disciplines, you translate user needs and business objectives into clear and usable solutions. You take ownership of the UX process, from research and problem definition to user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and validation, while considering technical feasibility throughout the design process.
In Discovery & User Research, you plan and conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviours, and pain points, select appropriate qualitative research methods based on the problem and context, translate research findings into actionable insights and opportunities, and use evidence to challenge assumptions and support design decisions. In Experience & Interaction Design, you translate insights and requirements into user journeys, flows, and wireframes, explore and evaluate different concepts and interaction approaches, turn complex processes into experiences that are clear and easy to use, and balance user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints.
In Prototyping & Validation, you create prototypes at the appropriate level of fidelity, plan and conduct usability testing and other validation activities, iterate on solutions based on research findings and feedback, and validate important assumptions early in the design process. In Facilitation & Co-creation, you facilitate workshops with users, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams, help teams frame problems and define clear design challenges, guide ideation and co-creation activities, and communicate UX insights and design decisions clearly.
In Product & Design Collaboration, you collaborate closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and developers throughout delivery, partner with UI Designers to translate UX concepts into detailed interface designs, work with Copywriters and Accessibility experts to create inclusive and understandable experiences, and contribute UX expertise to refinement and other Agile activities. Typical deliverables include research findings and insights, user and customer journeys, user flows and information architecture, wireframes, interactive prototypes, usability test findings, and UX recommendations.
Your profile requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience, several years of professional experience in UX, product design, service design, or a related discipline, the ability to independently take ownership of UX challenges from discovery through validation, a strong understanding of user-centered design and qualitative research methods, experience in creating user journeys, flows, wireframes, and prototypes, confidence using Figma for UX design and prototyping, comfort facilitating workshops and collaborating with different stakeholders, the ability to clearly communicate and explain design decisions, and comfort working in a multidisciplinary Agile environment.
Nice to have: experience with service design and customer journey mapping, experience working with design systems, understanding of accessibility and inclusive design, and technical understanding that supports effective collaboration with developers.
