Omschrijving
Context for this Freelance mission: The mission aims to provide subject matter expertise for Level 2 micro-segmentation, internal application zoning, onboarding methodology and segmentation readiness. The consultant will support application teams and Client stakeholders with guidance, readiness assessment, flow-review activities and continuous improvement of the onboarding methodology, while maintaining a clear separation between advisory support and Client-owned decisions. Missions: Provide guidance on multi-zoning Level 2 micro-segmentation principles and the agreed target approach. Explain frontend, internal/application and protected/database zone concepts. Support preparation of onboarding guidance and materials for application teams. Support application onboarding and flow-validation workshops. Review available application flow information and segmentation documentation. Help application teams understand validation requirements, labels and ownership expectations. Identify missing information, unclear flows, readiness gaps, dependencies and technical risks. Assess application readiness for pilot or wave-based onboarding. Provide technical input to onboarding templates, validation records and responsibility matrices. Capture lessons learned and recommend improvements to the onboarding methodology. Guide application teams through the Level 2 onboarding and flow-review approach. Support discussions concerning required communications between application zones. Identify blockers such as missing labels, incomplete flow information or pending application-owner decisions. Support refinement of the repeatable onboarding methodology following pilot sessions. Provide technical recommendations without taking responsibility for flow approval, rule approval, production implementation or residual-risk acceptance. Support the Client Delivery Manager with technical assessment of wave readiness, risks and dependencies. Provide technical progress, risks and dependencies to the Client Project Manager and Client Delivery Manager. Technical environment: Level 2 Micro-Segmentation, Multi-Zoning, Application Zoning, Frontend Zone, Internal/Application Zone, Protected/Database Zone, Application Flow Validation, Segmentation Readiness, Security & Network Architecture, Onboarding Methodology, Risk & Dependency Management. Location: 2 days onsite in Utrecht & 3 days remote.
