Omschrijving
As a Motion LAB Production Engineer, you bridge the gap between initial design concepts and high-volume manufacturing. Operating within the ASML Motion LAB, you will design, maintain, and optimize production processes for complex linear actuators used in our state-of-the-art lithography systems (XT, NXT, NXE, and EXE). In this hands-on role, you validate new products, process changes, and tooling in a controlled lab environment before floor rollout, ensuring flawless manufacturability and minimal production risk. Key responsibilities include: Process Design (define work instructions, process flowcharts, tooling requirements, and parameters for complex mechatronic assembly), 2nd Line Support (act as technical escalation point for shop floor disturbances), Failure Analysis (lead root-cause investigations on non-conforming products), NPI & R&D Interface (collaborate with Development & Engineering during pilot phases), Continuous Improvement (apply Lean, 6P, and quality frameworks such as FMEA and SPC), and Mentorship (coach shop floor operators and junior engineers).
