Omschrijving
We are hiring an MSL Director for one of our leading global life sciences clients based in Mississauga, Ontario. This position is within the Diabetes Care division and requires on site presence four days per week, with the option to work remotely one day. The role involves providing scientific and medical leadership to the MSL team, ensuring professional and credible relationships with thought leaders and external experts, ensuring a strong medical and scientific presence in key academic centers, working collaboratively with other in-field leadership, supporting commercial teams, overseeing MSL delivery of presentations, helping identify key opinion leaders (KOLs), attending scientific meetings and conferences in North America, managing staffing for medical affairs sections at exhibit booths, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, guaranteeing timely completion of training, and collaborating with the Canadian Medical Director and other North America Medical Affairs Leadership team members. The role reports directly to the North America Field Medical Director. Essential skills and knowledge: MD/DO, PharmD, DNP, PA-C or PhD with a minimum of 5 years of people management experience; minimum of 8 years in Pharmaceutical/Medical Technology/Medical Device industry; experience as an MSL or managing MSLs.
