This role focuses on troubleshooting software-related issues, implementing corrective changes, and driving structural improvements to reduce downtime and optimize production. The Operational Technology Support Engineer works closely with Operations and Maintenance, takes ownership of priorities, and helps coordinate engineering capacity to ensure the right expertise is applied to the right problems.

Requirements: Completed higher professional education (HBO) degree, ideally in Industrial Automation or a related field; at least 3 years of relevant experience in a technical production environment (process industry experience is preferred); hands-on experience with industrial automation/OT systems (e.g., Siemens PCS 7, SCADA/Historian solutions, MES-related applications); strong problem-solving skills; proactive, ownership-driven mindset; good communication skills; good command of Dutch and English.

Other Information: The Operational Technology Engineer will work mostly on-site, close to the installations and day-to-day production reality, in a team environment where behavior, initiative, and collaboration are considered as important as technical capability.
