Oracle OCI Cloud Engineering – International

Our client delivers a secure, off-premises cloud capability, based on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The Lot 1 solution is physically and logically air-gapped, with no live connectivity to public cloud, and is designed for classified, high-assurance workloads. Oracle is the technology subcontractor and Cisco is the network hardware partner.

Role focus: OCI cloud architects & engineers, Oracle Kubernetes Engine, Terraform/IaC, landing-zone build.

Key responsibilities: build and engineer the air-gapped Oracle OCI cloud platform; develop and implement the landing-zone baseline using Terraform / Infrastructure as Code; support Oracle Kubernetes Engine and the secure cloud platform build; implement consistent security, identity, networking, monitoring and governance controls across environments.

Environment & technologies: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), air-gapped / isolated cloud environment, Terraform / Infrastructure as Code, Zero Trust security model, classified / high-assurance workloads, Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE), landing-zone engineering.

Clearance & delivery model: NATO Secret (NS) clearance is required and cleared, OCI-experienced profiles are the top priority. A hybrid delivery model is being contemplated, with the possibility of partially non-NS-cleared personnel for suitable roles. Priority remains with NS-cleared candidates.

Duration & timing: The engagement is a 12-month prototype. Heavy build activity is concentrated in approximately the first 6-7 months, followed by accreditation and test/run activities through month 12.

Practical: Start date 5-10-2026, end date 31-10-2027, hours per week 40 (another section states 32-36 uur), contract type Secondment, rate in consultation per hour. The application process involves an introduction with Recruitment, presentation to the client, client interview, and finalization.
