The client is one of the Netherlands’ biggest dairy products manufacturers who is also active globally. As an OT Support Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining, improving, and optimizing the operational technology (OT) environment at the client's production site in Veghel. Working close to the production process and automation systems, you will support the maintenance organization in resolving software-related disruptions, implementing corrective changes, and delivering improvement initiatives that enhance production efficiency and minimize downtime.

This is a broad and hands-on position within a team of seven OT engineers. Beyond technical troubleshooting, you will act as a coordinator who works closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to prioritize issues, allocate resources, and ensure timely delivery of solutions. The role combines operational support, project ownership, and continuous improvement, with a strong focus on collaboration, initiative, and personal development.

The position follows approximately a 20% breakdown for incident resolution, 60% for project and improvement work, and 20% for professional development and learning.

Responsibilities include: troubleshooting and resolving software and automation-related issues within the production environment; implementing corrective software modifications; developing and executing improvement initiatives; working closely with Operations to identify priorities; coordinating work within the OT engineering team; supporting planning and budgeting activities; managing and overseeing engineering support activities; training, coaching, and supporting maintenance personnel; maintaining and enforcing OT engineering standards; supporting a highly automated production environment; and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
