Job Description
For this position, we are looking for a Packaging Line Operator (3-Shift) who will play a key role in keeping packaging operations running smoothly. The Packaging Line Operator (3-Shift) is responsible for operating, setting up, and monitoring packaging lines, ensuring products are packed correctly, safely, and according to plan.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, adjust, and change over packaging lines and related equipment (including case forming and palletizing).
- Monitor the production flow and take action quickly when deviations or disruptions occur.
- Perform quality and safety checks and accurately record results according to procedures.
- Resolve minor technical issues and escalate to technical support when needed.
- Coordinate day-to-day collaboration with packing staff and assistant operators on the assigned line(s).
- Ensure products are packed, labeled, and palletized in line with production planning.
- Maintain cleanliness, order, and a safe working environment, with strong attention to food safety and quality.
- Participate in shift handovers and ensure clear communication with colleagues and supervisors.
Requirements
- LBO / MBO working and thinking level.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a production or packaging environment.
- Understanding of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP) and awareness of topics such as allergens and Food Defense.
- Comfortable working in a 3-shift schedule.
