Omschrijving
Brunel is supporting a leading Oil & Gas company in Bangkok to hire a Petroleum Engineer. The role involves overseeing daily oil production and communicating production variances to the management team, preparing well intervention and workover recommendations, generating field short-term production forecasts, evaluating projects using economic models (PEEP, Excel), and conducting various aspects of Reservoir Engineering to support day-to-day assignments. The position is only open to Thai nationals. Required knowledge includes a Bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Petroleum or Reservoir). A Master's degree in Reservoir Engineering is an added advantage. Experience required: 10-15+ years of reservoir engineering experience in the oil and gas industry with at least 3-5 years in reservoir simulation. Experience in modelling oil reservoirs, preferably with Petrel RE and Eclipse E100/300. Experience working in different countries (especially Asia-Pacific) is an added advantage. Achieved QRE status. Skills: thorough knowledge of general engineering principles and theories; contributes to solving problems; may help management set technical/business objectives.
