Platform Engineer – Azure & .NET

Our client, a global industrial manufacturer, is seeking a specialist to evolve their internal engineering ecosystem. The role focuses on maturing an internal developer platform to support international engineering teams in delivering high-quality industrial software solutions. The role requires a Bachelor or Master degree and advanced experience (5+).

Responsibilities: Extend an existing MVP into a comprehensive and mature internal developer platform. Define and implement DevOps best practices for security, monitoring, and deployment across all applications. Develop reusable templates to enable rapid application deployment and standardization. Collaborate with technical leads and architects to align on and implement the target platform blueprint. Support development teams by providing tools that facilitate autonomous application management.

Document the platform architecture and processes to ensure a smooth long-term transition.

Requirements: 5+ years of experience in platform engineering with Azure DevOps, YAML pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code. 5+ years of cloud infrastructure experience with Azure Function Apps, App Services, Blob Storage, and SQL. 5+ years of backend development experience with C# and .NET. Possess expertise in REST API design and implementation. You have experience with containerization using Docker and platform monitoring. You're proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable working with ambiguous requirements.

You are fluent in English.

Nice to Haves: Experience with Azure Key Vault and identity management. Knowledge of Dutch.
