Principal Databricks Platform Engineer at a business building a next-generation cloud data platform. You will take a lead role in designing and scaling a Databricks environment that supports mission-critical analytics and AI use cases at enterprise level. The role combines technical authority with a hands-on approach. Responsibilities include defining and enhancing the core Databricks platform architecture, driving engineering standards around performance, scalability, and security, supporting deployment automation and environment optimisation, partnering with senior engineers, architects, and platform owners, and acting as a technical reference point for the wider data engineering function.
