The organization operates a highly regulated production environment with a strong focus on quality, safety, innovation, and continuous improvement while supplying products to markets worldwide. About the Role: As a Process Engineer, you will play a key role in improving process reliability, production efficiency, and product quality within a liquid manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for troubleshooting production issues, leading root cause investigations, and implementing sustainable improvement initiatives. Working closely with operators and production teams, you will drive operational excellence and support long term process optimization. Responsibilities: Improve safety, quality, operational performance, and equipment reliability; Support production teams in documenting process disruptions and downtime; Analyze production deviations and identify root causes of incidents; Lead investigations and define corrective and preventive actions; Initiate and manage continuous improvement projects; Collaborate closely with operators and production team leaders on the manufacturing floor; Participate in projects involving new processes and production technologies; Ensure production and quality requirements are met during process implementation and validation; Monitor and improve unit KPIs through data driven analysis; Support departmental activities and management tasks when required. Requirements: BSc or MSc degree in Food Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline; 1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; Experience within food, pharmaceutical, medical, or related regulated industries is preferred; Proven experience in continuous improvement methodologies; Strong root cause analysis and problem solving skills; Experience working in multidisciplinary project teams; Strong analytical and reporting capabilities; Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; Ability to work effectively in a dynamic production environment with changing priorities; Strong project management and organizational skills; Fluent Dutch language skills are essential; Good command of the English language.
