Omschrijving
We are looking for a Process Engineer to support process engineering and project execution activities for industrial/process plant upgrade projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing process engineering documentation, supporting design activities, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and providing engineering support during construction, commissioning and handover phases. The role requires a strong understanding of process engineering fundamentals, plant operations, process safety and site execution activities. Duties include preparing and reviewing PFDs, P&IDs, Process Data Sheets, Instrument Data Sheets, Control Philosophies, Line Sizing Calculations; reviewing vendor documentation; supporting process design; participating in HAZOP, risk assessment and process safety reviews; managing EMOC activities; coordinating with Operations, Instrumentation, Piping, Mechanical and Commissioning teams; providing engineering support during site construction, installation and commissioning; supporting PSSR and MC Walkdowns; supporting system handover; ensuring compliance with safety, quality and engineering standards; providing technical support to vendors and contractors; participating in technical evaluations and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, minimum 3 years of relevant process engineering experience, strong fundamentals, hands-on experience with PFD/P&ID development, knowledge of process calculations and line sizing, experience with process data sheets, understanding of control philosophy, familiarity with HAZOP and process safety, EMOC procedures, ability to read engineering drawings, exposure to plant commissioning, and good communication and analytical skills.
