This role is responsible for managing procurement activities across business and market operations, including supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, vendor management, and the development of sourcing strategies that support business objectives. The successful candidate will drive cost optimization initiatives, lead supplier relationships and tendering processes.

Job Description: Lead end-to-end procurement activities across business operations and market operations categories. Conduct market research and supplier benchmarking to identify qualified vendors, industry trends, and cost optimization opportunities. Manage sourcing processes, including RFI, RFP, and RFQ activities, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures. Negotiate commercial contracts and agreements that deliver value, mitigate risk, and support long-term business objectives.

Develop and implement sourcing strategies and commodity plans to drive operational efficiency and procurement performance. Take ownership of procurement KPIs, spend management, supplier performance, and cost-saving initiatives within the assigned category. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, agencies, and internal stakeholders to support business needs. Lead supplier onboarding, assessments, performance evaluations, and strategic supplier development activities.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and other purchasing organizations to align procurement strategies and execution. Analyze procurement data and market insights to support decision-making, forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure tendering processes are conducted in a compliant, transparent, and closed-loop manner. Identify and implement opportunities to improve procurement processes, supplier performance, and overall commercial outcomes.

The Successful Applicant: 3-5 years of procurement or purchasing experience, with a strong focus on operational procurement. Proven experience managing sourcing activities, including RFI, RFP, RFQ processes, supplier selection, and contract negotiations. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to optimize spend, manage budgets, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Demonstrated success in building and maintaining effective relationships with suppliers, agencies, and internal stakeholders.

Experience developing sourcing strategies and category or commodity business plans aligned with organizational objectives. Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and influencing skills. Strong analytical capabilities with experience leveraging data and market insights to support decision-making and procurement strategies. Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions and guide teams toward successful execution. Adaptable, hands-on, and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a fast-changing and demanding environment.

Strong attention to detail in spend management, financial analysis, forecasting, and compliance. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, International Relations, or a related field. Automotive industry knowledge and SAP experience are considered advantageous. Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
