Omschrijving

As Interim Procurement Manager Technology, you will strengthen the Procurement team during a period of continued growth and transformation. You will work closely with Technology stakeholders across all markets, managing strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and procurement projects with a direct impact on the business. Key responsibilities include: building strong and trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and strategic suppliers; supporting Technology teams in balancing business objectives, risk management, and cost efficiency; developing and executing sourcing strategies across relevant technology categories; leading commercial and contractual negotiations; managing tenders, RFPs, supplier selection processes, and contract renewals; driving supplier and contract management activities for key suppliers; identifying market developments, innovations, and alternative solutions; managing procurement activities within SAP Ariba and ensuring procurement governance compliance; delivering measurable value through sourcing projects and procurement initiatives. The environment: onze opdrachtgever is one of Europe's fastest-growing retailers, operating across 12 countries and continuing to expand rapidly. The Technology function is centrally managed from the headquarters in Zwaagdijk. Most stakeholders are based at HQ, making collaboration straightforward. Occasional travel may be required depending on project needs. You will join a team of approximately 15 procurement professionals covering a broad range of categories and expertise areas. Requirements: you can quickly integrate into the organization, establish credibility with stakeholders, and independently manage a portfolio of sourcing and supplier management activities; a relevant bachelor's or master's degree (Business, Economics, Procurement, Finance or similar); at least 5 years of experience in strategic procurement, preferably within international organizations; strong experience in technology procurement, supplier management, and contract negotiations; familiarity with procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba, OpenText, Scanmarket, or similar solutions; excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities; strong stakeholder management and influencing skills; a pragmatic, results-driven, and hands-on approach; fluency in English, both written and spoken.
