Volledige omschrijving

As a Digital Product Manager, you’ll work closely with UX, data and development on digital products used across an international organisation. You’ll translate user needs into clear product choices, help the team decide what to build and stay involved throughout delivery. At the same time, the team is gradually adopting new ways of working, including AI-assisted development and agentic workflows. A role for someone who enjoys the day-to-day craft of product management and wants to develop further in a large, international environment.

Where will you be working? You’ll be working for a large international organisation with an extensive digital department and teams across different countries. Digital products are an important part of how the organisation serves its customers, so there is a strong focus on usability, reliability and solutions that work across markets. You’ll join a multidisciplinary team of product, UX, data and development professionals. It’s an international and professional environment where different disciplines work together on both existing and new digital products.

New technologies are part of that development, with a practical focus on where they can improve the product or the way the team works. What are your core tasks? You’ll manage and develop digital products together with your team. You understand what users need, translate those needs into product decisions and determine priorities together with the people around you. From discovery through delivery, you stay close to both the content and the team. This is a hands-on product role.

You’ll work with developers on what needs to be built, involve UX and data where needed and make sure ideas are translated into clear, workable solutions. Rather than focusing mainly on strategy, you’ll spend much of your time on the actual development and improvement of the product. The way the team develops software is also evolving. AI-assisted development and agentic workflows are beginning to play a role in that process. Experience with AI is therefore a strong plus, particularly if you have used it practically for prototyping, product development or improving workflows.

You don’t need to be an AI specialist; understanding its possibilities and knowing when it adds value is more important. What are we looking for? You enjoy the practical side of product management: working with a team, understanding a problem and helping turn it into a good digital product. You’re comfortable taking ownership without needing to operate at a highly strategic level all the time. You may already have several years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, and a background in UX or data followed by a move into product could also be very interesting.

What matters most is that you understand how digital products are developed and want to take the next step in your product career. You have relevant professional experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager or in a similar digital product role. You have experience within a large international organisation. You have experience developing digital products as part of a multidisciplinary team. You have an interest in AI and preferably practical experience using it within product development, prototyping or workflows.

You are comfortable working with UX, data and development and can translate different perspectives into product decisions. You communicate confidently in English and are comfortable working with colleagues and stakeholders from different countries. What do we offer? Full time assignment. 6 month contract (with possibility of extension).
