Omschrijving
The Production operator role is in the Life Science sector, focusing on drug production, medical devices and biotechnology. Responsibilities include carrying out assigned activities according to the production schedule and in compliance with GMP, HSE, environmental, operational, and safety procedures; moving materials and waste containers within designated areas; handling and processing solid, liquid, and mixed radioactive waste streams according to approved procedures; performing the segregation of radioactive waste streams; collecting, moving, inspecting, and preparing radioactive waste containers; ensuring that waste containers are correctly closed, labelled, and prepared for storage or shipment; maintaining good housekeeping standards, including cleaning, tidiness, and 5S activities; supporting clean-out and housekeeping activities in radioactive waste storage areas and bunkers; performing routine inspections of storage areas and waste repositories; maintaining accurate inventories of radioactive materials and waste; registering waste in approved digital inventory and tracking systems; keeping accurate records of container locations, storage times, waste categories, and disposal status; monitoring storage durations and supporting compliance with maximum storage time requirements; reporting abnormalities, deviations, and unsafe situations to the responsible manager, relevant experts, and the Radiation Protection Unit; taking appropriate immediate actions in the event of faults or abnormal situations, in accordance with established procedures; and accurately documenting all activities in accordance with GMP and HSE requirements. Requirements include working accurately, responsibly, and systematically; considering safety and compliance a top priority; having an interest in a technical, industrial, pharmaceutical, nuclear, or similarly regulated environment; being comfortable working according to detailed procedures and work instructions; having good administrative and documentation skills; being able to work both independently and as part of a team; being proactive in identifying and reporting abnormalities, deviations, and unsafe situations; being physically capable of handling and moving materials and waste containers as required; being willing to complete relevant training in radiation safety, radioactive waste management, GMP, HSE, and related areas; already residing in the Netherlands and having the legal right to work in the Netherlands; and being willing and able to work in a 3-shift system, with a planned transition to a 5-shift system in the future. The working hours initially operate on a 3-shift schedule, with an expected transition to a 5-shift pattern over time. Candidates must be comfortable working shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays as required.
