The company values collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement in a dynamic environment. We are seeking a dedicated Production Planning Specialist to join our team in Leeuwarden. In this role, you will develop and manage detailed production schedules across multiple factories to maximize efficiency and meet customer delivery targets. The ideal candidate is experienced, proactive, and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Responsibilities: Develop, monitor, and adjust production plans for three factories to ensure optimal output. Collaborate daily with manufacturing teams to review production progress, identify necessary adjustments, and implement improvements. Coordinate closely with supply planning, warehouse, and transportation teams on material availability, order status, and shipment schedules. Ensure timely and accurate communication of planning updates to all relevant departments. Make data-driven decisions, analyze production performance, and identify opportunities for process enhancements. Manage changing priorities and adapt plans as needed to meet delivery deadlines. Support ongoing projects aimed at improving planning processes and overall efficiency. Requirements: Minimum HBO level education in (Technical) Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. Several years of planning experience within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP, and familiarity with planning tools such as OMP or similar.
