Production Site Manager

Our client is a well-established food manufacturing organization supplying products to professional and consumer markets. The site operates in a dynamic, safety- and quality-driven environment, running a continuous production schedule and investing in operational improvement and technology upgrades. For a production site in Noordwijk, we are looking for an experienced Interim Production Site Manager (Food Manufacturing) to lead the factory through an important transformation phase.

This role has full responsibility for day-to-day operations, performance improvement, and the further development of the site, with a strong focus on safety, food safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities: Lead the site and ensure stable daily operations in a 24/7 production environment; Manage and develop the site leadership team across Production, Maintenance, Technology/Operational Excellence, SHE, Quality, Planning & Logistics, and Finance; Drive improvements in safety performance, food safety standards, quality, and operational results; Strengthen processes, structure, and ways of working to improve performance and consistency; Lead change initiatives that build capability, ownership, and a continuous improvement culture on the shop floor; Support and guide technology upgrades and investment projects to prepare the site for future growth; Monitor key KPIs, translate insights into actions, and ensure follow-up and sustainable results.

Requirements: Extensive experience leading a manufacturing site as a Plant Manager / Site Leader / Factory Manager; Proven background in food manufacturing (required); Experience managing operations in a 24/7 production environment; Strong change leadership skills, with experience in transformation and continuous improvement initiatives; Technical background, preferably in engineering or a comparable hands-on technical discipline; Experience with investment projects and technology/automation-related upgrades.

Other Information: This is an on-site assignment in Noordwijk, where the Interim Production Site Manager (Food Manufacturing) will play a key role in stabilizing performance and leading the site through change.
