Join a growing owner's team delivering major sustaining capital projects across large-scale residue storage facilities supporting Queensland's alumina industry. This site-based role will see you lead project execution, quality assurance, contractor coordination and earthworks delivery, playing a key role in the safe and successful delivery of annual wall raise programs. Responsibilities include leading the planning and execution of major earthworks and wall raise projects, coordinating construction activities across multiple work fronts, managing project schedules, budgets and cost forecasts, monitoring project performance and construction productivity, driving quality assurance and quality control outcomes across project delivery, ensuring inspection and test plans are implemented and completed, reviewing engineering deliverables, technical documentation and construction records, supporting procurement activities and contractor management, coordinating survey, geotechnical and specialist engineering support, managing project risks, opportunities and change management processes, providing technical support to site supervisors and construction teams, maintaining strong stakeholder engagement across operations, engineering and project teams, promoting a strong safety culture through visible leadership and field engagement, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery. Essential skills and knowledge include a degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, proven experience delivering bulk earthworks, civil, mining or infrastructure projects, strong construction delivery and project execution background, experience managing project schedules, costs, forecasting and reporting, demonstrated understanding of QA/QC processes and construction assurance, ability to work closely with field teams and operational stakeholders, strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, experience working in mining, resources, heavy industry or industrial environments, exposure to residue storage facilities, tailings, dams, embankments or water infrastructure projects will be highly regarded, and experience within an owner's team or self-perform delivery environment is advantageous.
