Seeking a Project Engineer with a focus on Instrumentation & Controls. The ideal candidate will have project engineering experience within an operating facility and a proven ability to manage multiple Instrumentation & Controls projects simultaneously. This is a contract position. Location: Beaumont, TX (~30%) and Sabine Pass, TX (~70%). Responsibilities include prioritizing environmental protection and HSE reviews, managing projects through all phases including status updates, forecasting, cost control, schedule management, change management, documentation, and project closeout, collaborating with project owners to define scope, developing cost estimates and schedules, working with discipline leads on standards, assembling bid packages, interfacing with suppliers, planning and overseeing contractors, coordinating drawing reviews and RFIs, coordinating activities between contractors and internal groups, partnering with Operations and Maintenance for work permits and commissioning, developing turnover documentation, and ensuring modifications are documented. Requirements: Degree in Engineering or Technology with 12+ years of industry experience, experience managing small capital and expense projects within operating facilities, experience managing project budgets and schedules, knowledge of equipment specification development and procurement, general knowledge across several areas with expertise in at least one (Field Instrumentation and Controls, Actuated Valve Design, DCS, Safety Systems, PLC-based packaged equipment, SmartPlant Instrumentation, Wireless technologies, HMI graphics, Analyzer systems, Instrumentation cabling, Modbus networks, etc.), experience supporting marine vessel loading infrastructure preferred, experience performing loop checks and functional testing, experience with commissioning and startup, working knowledge of petrochemical industry safety practices. Essential skills: self-motivated, attention to detail, excellent communication, collaboration, organization, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam. Closing: September 05, 2026.
