Project Manager

Imagine your next project driving critical engineering and automation initiatives for process equipment at CAR-T, working closely with senior leaders to deliver complex, high-impact pharmaceutical solutions.

We are looking for a project manager. They will be working on projects in the engineering and automation department for process equipment at CAR-T. They will be closely working with the director and managers of MAM (Make Asset Management) department.

Roles and responsibilities: Managing long term planning of projects; Initiating projects according to the planning and assisting project engineers in applying standard principles; Managing own engineering projects; Design of GxP compliant automation systems, such as historian integration, server hosted software for equipment connectivity, PLC and HMI; Representing engineering projects and managing internal MAM and external stakeholders; Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities; Supporting knowledge management of the personnel working in the projects: gap analyses, training of juniors, etc.; Addressing complex technical challenges posing risks to the department's priority; Supporting management (e.g. resources and planning) of the portfolio of projects undertaken by the department; Prioritizes safety and quality in every decision and action; Values clear and effective communication, especially when explaining complex engineering concepts; Approaches challenges with a mindset of efficiency and effectiveness, leveraging appropriate tools and techniques; Maintains transparency and accountability by sharing project status in ways that suit different audiences.

How to succeed: Master's degree in engineering or equivalent through experience; 10 years of relevant professional experience of which at least 5 years in project management or people leader experience; Optional: People leading; Optional: Systems engineering; Optional: Qualification of pharmaceutical systems.

Benefits: This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. This contract will run for 12 months.
