As a Senior Project Engineer at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine, you lead challenging engineering projects and direct multidisciplinary teams from feasibility through to closure. As a Senior Project Engineer, you act as the driving force behind medium to high-complexity capital investment projects at 40 hours per week at the Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine site in Leiden. In this versatile position, you effortlessly bridge technical engineering disciplines with overarching project management. You maintain control, guarantee quality within a strict GxP environment, and ensure alignment across all involved stakeholders. Your responsibilities include: translating project scopes into request for quotation packages and managing external engineering firms and contractors; managing project budgets, timelines, and quality objectives in accordance with the Engineering Process; checking and approving technical designs and calculations to ensure alignment with European and Janssen Biologics standards; building and leading cross-functional project teams to achieve final project objectives; ensuring compliance and executing relevant GxP requirements, including Change Control and Management of Change. Functie-eisen: You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering or technical field; you have 5 to 7 years of work experience in an engineering or project lead role; you possess a valid VCA-VOL certificate; you have completed FPX Project Lead training. Competenties: Analytical Thinking, Ownership & Autonomy, Stakeholder Management, Leadership & Collaboration. Arbeidsvoorwaarden: A contract for a year of 32 or 40 hours per week; a monthly project allowance 4% of your salary; 25 holiday days; 8% Holiday Pay; a travel allowance; a good pension scheme; extra allowances for a home workplace budget; a training budget, coaching, an onboarding program, and unlimited access to the Randstad Academy with over 3,000 courses and trainings; networking events and knowledge sessions. Requires 5 days on-site in Leiden for the first six months, transitioning into the possibility to work 4 days on-site and 1 day working from home thereafter.
