Omschrijving
We're hiring a Project Manager for our global mining client to join their team! You will be responsible for the full lifecycle delivery of minor and sustaining underground infrastructure projects supporting the asset. The position is primarily site-based in a remote rural location east of Saskatoon, with site accommodation available. The intended contract duration is 12 months. Responsibilities include defining project objectives, developing detailed scopes of work, preparing Class 2 cost estimates and schedules, supporting procurement and contract award, coordinating multidisciplinary engineering activities (mechanical, structural, electrical, controls, civil/underground), managing construction activities with contractors, maintaining cost control, leading weekly contractor meetings, ensuring compliance with health/safety/environmental systems, and acting as the primary interface with project and operations teams. Essential skills and knowledge: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mining, or Electrical Engineering with minimum 10 years of relevant experience including at least 7 years in project management, OR Engineering Technologist/Technical Diploma with 12 years of experience including 7 years in project management; strong commitment to safety; experience managing small to medium projects; strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, cost control; experience with mine infrastructure and underground mining; familiarity with conveyor systems; ability to interpret engineering drawings; and strong communication and teamwork skills.
