Project Manager – Digital & Telematics Solutions

Our client, a leading organization in the transport and logistics sector, is looking for a professional to lead the implementation of digital and telematics solutions. This role focuses on bridging the gap between business needs and IT delivery to ensure compliance with international standards while driving operational value.

Responsibilities: Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams; lead multidisciplinary Agile delivery teams including analysts, architects, developers, and testers; manage project scope, budget, planning, risks, and dependencies to meet delivery commitments; coordinate the implementation of solutions supporting telematics processes and data exchanges; facilitate workshops to gather business requirements and define strategic solution roadmaps; prioritize and structure project backlogs in close collaboration with business owners; monitor project progress and report status to steering committees and senior management.

Requirements: You possess 2+ years of experience working on IT projects as a Functional Analyst; 1+ years of professional experience in Project Management; 1+ years of proven experience in the railway sector or comparable operational environments such as aviation, logistics, or utilities; a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent professional background; experience leading Agile delivery teams and coordinating sprint planning and releases; ability to manage project governance including reporting and the follow-up of steering committee decisions; and fluency in Dutch or French (minimum C1) with a professional working proficiency in English (minimum B2).

Nice to haves: Knowledge of TSI Telematics, railway interoperability, or system integration; experience with data-exchange environments involving multiple external stakeholders.

Offer: Start date 01/01/2027; duration until 31/12/2028; full-time; location Brussels; hybrid with onsite presence up to five days per week as required; contract open to both permanent employees and freelancers.
